This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced product executive passionate about building modern, scalable financial technology platforms. In this role, you will lead the vision and execution of a next-generation payments and processing ecosystem designed to support massive transaction volumes and evolving customer demands. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and business leaders to drive platform modernization, operational excellence, and product innovation across critical financial infrastructure. The position combines long-term strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, enabling you to shape resilient systems, improve customer experiences, and influence how modern money movement solutions evolve at scale. Working within a flexible remote-first environment, you’ll help guide a high-performing product organization while driving measurable impact across technology, customer trust, and business growth.
Accountabilities:
- Define and execute the long-term product vision and strategy for a next-generation issuance and processing platform focused on scalability, modernization, resilience, and operational excellence.
- Lead and mentor a senior product management organization responsible for platform services including issuing, processing, fulfillment, ledger systems, tokenization, onboarding, and customer enablement.
- Drive alignment between customer needs, operational priorities, and long-term platform investments to support growth and competitive differentiation.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure financial infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee roadmap execution and product delivery while ensuring high platform performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop operating models, governance frameworks, and support structures that enable efficient delivery and improved production health visibility.
- Translate regulatory, network, and market changes into strategic product initiatives and roadmap priorities.
- Establish and monitor key product and operational metrics, using quantitative and qualitative insights to drive prioritization and decision-making.
- Improve customer retention and trust by incorporating operational insights and support feedback directly into product planning.
- Advocate for innovation in developer experience, platform tooling, APIs, observability, and transaction processing capabilities.
- 10+ years of product management leadership experience, preferably within fintech, payments, SaaS, or platform-based technology environments.
- Proven ability to define product strategy, manage large-scale roadmaps, and lead end-to-end product execution for complex technical platforms.
- Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including card networks, ISO 8583, EMV standards, digital wallets, gateway services, and security practices.
- Strong technical acumen across APIs, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, incident management, and scalable production environments.
- Experience managing highly technical platform products, including SaaS services, APIs, SDKs, or transaction processing systems.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing product teams with a collaborative and customer-focused leadership style.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage metrics, operational data, and customer insights to drive strategic decisions.
- Experience building systems that process large-scale transaction volumes and support mission-critical financial operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executives and translate complex concepts into business outcomes.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, developer platforms, reconciliation systems, and money movement technologies is highly preferred.
- Competitive base salary ranging from:
- National: $198,100 – $247,600
- Premium: $214,400 – $268,000
- Premium Plus: $233,000 – $291,300
