The Xfinity App is the digital destination for our customers to enjoy the power of our products and experience effortless service and support. The Connected Living team develops and manages the Xfinity App as part of our mission to deliver a powerful and simple connectivity experience. The Director, App Overview & Personalization will report to the VP, App Engagement Platforms and deliver the Xfinity App Overview enhancements that will increase customer engagement within the App. The Director will also lead in defining and developing the platforms and capabilities that enable personalization of the Xfinity app experience to the needs of each customer as well as experience experimentation.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities:
- Own, define and execute the Xfinity App Overview customer experience strategy to drive increased engagement.
- Define and develop the roadmap of personalization capabilities and enhancements that deliver personalized and data-driven experiences.
- Provide leadership to product teams aligned with enhancing the Xfinity App Overview and App recommendation engine.
- Drive the use of customer data in the Xfinity App including enablement and integration of recommendation and next best action data services.
- Partner across the organization to evolve the Xfinity App personalization capabilities in order to support desired engagement outcomes (e.g. value reinforcement, upsell, etc.)
- Collaborate with Marketing, Business and Technology to bring to life a view of customer data that can be used for tailoring the Xfinity App experience to each client.
- Build a culture of experimentation in the Xfinity App and drive experiment velocity to support continuous learning and optimization of the experience.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing and the Business to understand experimentation use cases and identify opportunities to enhance platform capabilities to support desired outcomes.
- Be accountable for executing across the product lifecycle - product discovery, definition, delivery, and optimization.
- Lead a data driven approach to your products, defining KPIs upfront and continually optimizing the Xfinity App Overview experience and App recommendation engine against those KPIs
- Operate effectively in agile development environment, with the flexibility to adapt to and customize development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Track record of success leading high-impact products across the entire lifecycle
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing targeting and personalization capabilities based on customer attributes, algorithms, omni-channel engagement and AI
- At least 3 years of product strategy experience leveraging platforms for digital experience personalization.
- Experience in Product Management; a blend of design and/or engineering experience is also a plus. Substantial experience with digital experience experimentation best practices, techniques and methods (e.g. A/B testing, multivariate, etc.), ideally in the mobile environment
- Familiarity with marketing technology or data management technology and other components of the Personalization technology stack in support of marketing/advertising or similar
- Strong analytical skills to bring a data-driven approach to product management
- Demonstrable experience in collaborating across the organization to deliver together on major projects
- Experienced practitioner of Agile software development
