The Role
AXS is looking for a talented and motivated professional to join our Product Management team as a Director of Product Management.
In this highly visible role, you represent and provide product subject matter expertise for our global B2B client facing suite of applications. You drive the product and feature discovery process, help elicit requirements and ensure what we build aligns with our strategic initiatives and business goals. We look to you for input and maturation of our product management best practices.
What you’ll be doing:
- Understand the problems that your customers are experiencing through research and interaction with SME’s, stakeholders and clients.
- Deliver high quality solutions that align with our strategic initiatives and business goals.
- Recommend tough trade-off decisions or investment areas to maximize value delivered.
- Influence and support the product management discipline, increasing the value and effectiveness of the team, and build alignment with business stakeholders.
- Leverage the power of data to help the team make better recommendations and the company make better planning decisions.
- Work closely with internal teams (Tech, Sales, Finance, Client Services) to help in planning the future roadmap.
- Help develop key metrics used in measuring the success of our efforts.
- Leverage industry knowledge to communicate the value of our products and services.
- Mentor and influence team members to elevate individual growth, and create a positive team environment.
- Recommend ways to improve the overall effectiveness of the team by identifying skill / process gaps, and filling those gaps as needed.
- Demonstrate our three team pillars to success - Trust, Influence and Impact.
Skills and experience we're seeking:
- Minimum 5 years experience in Product Management is required.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Earning an MBA is a plus.
- Experience managing a B2B product in live entertainment preferred.
- Proven success in building products that scale and meet customer needs.
- Demonstrable experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, across geographies, including executive management, product management, operations, sales and marketing.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality and attention to detail.
- Comprehension of the product marketing / launch process.
- You are outcome vs output oriented.
- Positivity is part of your being.
- Ability to stay organized in a highly demanding environment.
- Bonus: You have strong technical acumen and comprehension of architecture.
- Some travel may be required depending on location.

Pay Scale: $166,001-$226,365
