Director, Product Management: Data Science & Product Analytics

We're expanding our Data Science and Product Analytics team to make sure we stay ahead of the competition.
This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for:
In this role you will build & scale our data science team, ultimately helping our product leaders make decisions better, and create a data science roadmap that aligns with critical areas of the business and unlocks value. This role will be based at our Belmont CA headquarters.
Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver a business intelligence roadmap that scales our infrastructure, reporting, and data model capabilities
• Outline the customer journey, and identify levers the business can pull to delight our customers and create sticky experiences
• Evaluate build/partner opportunities as it relates to NLP and Generative AI capabilities
• Create multivariate models that showcase the key drivers of customer retention and churn
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analytics teams, engineering teams, and groups of passionate stakeholders dedicated to improving our customer experience
• Distill our knowledge of the consumer into playbooks and data visualizations effectively putting knowledge into action that helps out businesses make decisions better

Key Experience & Skills:

• 10+ years of analytics experience
• 5+ years of leading analytics and data science teams with direct reports
• Strong SQL skills
• Expert proficiency in Python or R
• Hands-on experience in statistics and machine learning, both in building and maintaining models as well as coaching and helping analysts choose the suitable methods to solve the problem at hand
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization and BI in Looker or Tableau
• Advanced knowledge of data models, infrastructure, and data architecture
• Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to lead a team and operate autonomously
• Ability to explain technical analyses to non-technical audiences
• Strong storytelling skills with the ability to coach and teach best practices

If you are hired in Belmont, the compensation range for this position is between $169,000 and $200,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
