Job Description

Reimagine the infrastructure of cancer care within a community that values integrity, inspires growth, and is uniquely positioned to create a more modern, connected oncology ecosystem.
We're looking for a Director, Product Management to help us accomplish our mission to improve lives by learning from the experience of every cancer patient. Are you ready to be the next changemaker in cancer care?
What You'll Do
The successful candidate will help the Flatiron Real World Evidence (RWE) Commercial Products team accelerate our customers' ability to learn from the experience of every patient by building first in class data solutions for life sciences customers. Flatiron's unique combination of data products, visualizations tools, and services offerings support a range of use cases in the drug development lifecycle. Our Commercial Products team is at the heart of the process to identify the key use cases our business should support, and design tailored end to end solutions made up of a combination of those offerings.
You will own the end to end strategic direction, roadmap, and development lifecycle across 2-3 teams supporting Flatiron's industry-leading oncology data solutions. The successful candidate has led teams of multiple Product Managers and will work closely with a cross-functional team of Clinicians, Data Scientists, Quantitative Scientists, and Software Engineers to build a vision, strategy and roadmap for their teams. Flatiron's RWE Product teams are deeply cross-functional given their focus on creating end to end solutions which support key oncology drug development use cases. In addition, you'll also:
  • Own the roadmap, ROI, and investment allocations for your teams' solutions
  • Drive research into and make key decisions on the portfolio of solutions your teams will build, and the key associated RWE use cases for our customers those solutions support
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners, senior internal stakeholders, and customers on your teams and their products long term vision
  • Manage and drive complex, cross-team projects
  • Work closely with other Flatiron product managers, engineers, solutions managers, and scientists to gather product feedback and requirements

Who You Are
You're a product leader with 7+ years of experience; while not a requirement, work with data products and health care technology specifically is a plus. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You're a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact.
  • You have a Bachelors or Masters degree in a management or operations field, science or healthcare related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • You are a proven team leader, with 3+ years of people management experience, who delegates, aligns, and holds team members accountable for results in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • You have strong project and financial management skills and can move fluidly between technical capabilities, partner needs, user experience, and the ability to go deep into the details.
  • You have experience collaborating cross-functionally, such as with technical experts, clinicians, scientists, operations, and regulatory professionals
  • You are highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to lead teams independently under time constraints to meet deadlines
  • You have a genuine interest in technology and new industry trends
