Director, Product Management --Remote

Position Purpose:

Align complex business needs into a product strategy.

Own the end-to-end governance from concept to production of multiple products.

Understand and translate business strategy into product strategy and roadmaps, collaborating with business leaders and technology teams.

Manage design, development, and integration of enterprise-wide products and measure efficiencies gained.

Write user stories and lead Agile and Scrum teams with technical counterparts to execute on roadmap's with clear milestones.

Collaborate with senior leadership and technology teams to negotiate and agree on proposed new systems and changes to existing systems and practices.

Synthesize market changes and technology improvements into actionable improvements for products

Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide a global viewpoint and extend applications across use cases

Lead a team of product people in our customer facing web and mobile space. In doing so, build and support a product management practice that empowers our teams to deliver the most impact to our customers (the end-users) and value for Centene while efficiently meeting the needs of our business stakeholders.

Provide feedback and coaching to your team to promote good product management principles and standards.

Define and articulate a clear product roadmap for your program, with priorities aligned to explicit customer needs and a firm understanding of the value and cost impact of that roadmap.

Collaborate with peers in engineering and product experience to optimize delivery, both in terms of user impact and efficiency of delivery.

Effectively communicate status, dependencies and vision to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Partner with communications and change management teams to develop marketing plans, demos, collateral and training materials.

Identify, build and maintain formal and informal networks and productive relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, leveraging those relationship to influence positive outcomes.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.

7+ years of product management experience.

Deep knowledge of specified product domain and industry trends.

Knowledge of Information Technology. Product Owner, Scrum Master, or Agile Coach experience preferred.
