Director, Product Marketing

We're looking for a Director of Product Marketing to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the CMO, you will be responsible for codifying our go-to-market strategies and making them actionable to help Marketing, Sales, CS and Product teams drive acquisition, upsell/x-sell and retention growth. You're most likely to be successful in this role if you are a strong blend of strategy + execution, highly attuned to both the market and how to drive commercial growth, and a stellar communicator and collaborator.
Requirements
- 5+ years B2B SaaS Product Marketing experience required
- Proven track record of using market, competitive and customer intelligence to create actionable go-to-market strategies
- Commercially minded and able to quantify and articulate the expected impact of your recommendations and decisions
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, collaborate and build consensus on challenging topics
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively message to different audiences appropriately across mediums (decks, 1-pagers, videos, and more)
- Prior industry experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Go-to-market playbooks: In partnership with senior leadership, define and codify the future of how MessageGears goes to market and wins. Work across departments to ensure that the strategies are applied and made actionable in every step of the buyer and customer journey.
- Market intelligence: Build and manage the market, competitive and customer intelligence function for MessageGears and ensure that the rest of the org is actioning on that intelligence
- Positioning and messaging: Refine (though quant/qual research) brand and segmented messaging that resonates and converts
- Product planning and launch: Maximize the success of new products and features in-market
- Collateral: Create and manage all Product Marketing collateral, including decks, 1-pagers, competitive battlecards, and many many others
