Job Description
The Director, Product Marketing is responsible for the overall Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy of our portfolio and leads the integrated marketing plan. This role shares revenue accountability with business development and our product team to commercialize a portfolio of existing and future innovative solutions that transform the healthcare industry. The Director of Product Marketing reports to the VP, Strategic Marketing & Communications; the position is full time, exempt. This person manages, nurtures and coaches a team of product marketers and other related roles, and supports overall department career development and initiatives.
You will partner with the Product Marketing team, Business Development and Product Management teams to lead our Go-To-Market Strategy. You will lead our buyer-journey focused marketing strategy and promotional execution. With a deep understanding of our target audiences, industry needs and dynamics, you will play a crucial role in positioning our products the right way to the right prospects and clients leading to higher revenue capture and increased market share. This is a full-time, exempt, remote position.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage team of marketers - Organize, motivate and mentor a team of professionals to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Drive Thought Leadership - Drive development of Thought Leadership content and promote SME across the organization's solution portfolio, as well as across the CORE and Insights business units.
- Manage Product Marketing Strategy, Execution - Manage a team that oversees a portfolio of new and existing products that require effective GTM Strategies.
- Develop a cohesive GTM strategy that focuses on vertical solutions and includes unique CAQH positioning to achieve demand generation and industry recognition goals.
- Influence and oversee the creation of product positioning, value proposition development, and cross-channel content marketing to successfully engage target audience.
- Ensure marketing strategy aligns across channels and partners, to communicate to stakeholders most effectively.
- Ensure demand generation campaigns align to product value-story, to consistently deliver new leads, helping to facilitate and collapse the sales cycle to drive more closed deals.
- Align product marketing KPIs with organizational goals. Monitor and evaluate campaign progress, making changes when necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Review campaigns that were ineffective in goal achievement, identifying the root cause of ineffectiveness, and provide targeted coaching for your team to design enhanced campaign plans.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders - Drive and manage relationships with key stakeholders to maximize market impact.
- Support internal sales teams by collaborating on GTM strategy, developing sales materials, conducting sales training, identifying new markets, and advising on demand gen and positioning strategies.
- Collaborate with Account Management to support account-based marketing to specific cross-sell and net new target accounts.
- Collaborate with product to most effectively position solutions in the market, promote enhancements and support release updates
- Oversee Content Development - Use market research, competitive intelligence and VOC from partner stakeholders to create compelling product positioning delivered via a variety of vehicles.
- Define and develop persuasive content for the CAQH website, promotional campaigns, collateral, webinars, podcasts, case studies, issue briefs, white papers and more.
- Partner with the Account Management Team to obtain client testimonials for CAQH products and initiatives.
- Partner with Product Management to constantly identify persuasive product metrics to drive market credibility.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Manage a team of 5-10 individuals including 4-6 direct reports.
Skills:
- Senior Manager-level experience of marketing healthcare tech solution to health plans and deep understanding of the healthcare tech marketplace. Substantial experience in executing successful healthcare technology marketing communications programs, including automated marketing campaigns.
- Ability to develop and manage product and customer lifecycles to meet ROI and profitability expectations and work across of the relevant stakeholders.
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office
Qualifications:
- Experience as a marketing leader for a broad portfolio of B2B solutions.
- Strong opinions and recommendations for bold, industry-disruptive communications that drive results.
- Skilled at clearly explaining ideas, creating compelling arguments, and delivering visual and verbal information to various audiences for maximum impact. Flexing communication skills to gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Comfortable in front of leadership and have a compelling voice demonstrated through your executive presence and ability to lead change.
- Expertise in using marketing tools, marketing automation, and rolling a Go-To-Market strategy into an enterprise-wide integrated marketing plan.
- Strong analytical capabilities to analyze target audience market research, competitive intelligence and in-house end to end conversion metrics (and others) to develop sound marketing strategies and measure results. Experience with creative execution using a variety of marketing tools and channels.
- Demonstrated budget and ROI management activity. Our marketing must deliver a specific ROI target to the organization, and we need an accountable, metrics/data driven marketing leader.
Experience:
- Ten or more years of B2B product marketing experience in healthcare IT, healthcare or life sciences required.
- Two or more years supervising Product Marketing staff.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or business required. Master's degree desired.
