Job Overview

As the Product Pricing Director, you will drive and implement the BU pricing strategy, pricing governance and pricing execution processes across all regions. The pricing director will work closely with sales, product management in establishing the pricing strategy as well as building a robust framework to determine the price of new and existing products by evaluating cost, competitive data, economic conditions, supply chain insights as well as market positioning.

Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy
  • Define process and drive system optimization (TEOA)
  • Define strategy and KPI that aligns with business objectives and market dynamics
  • Manage balance between price improvement and transactional execution
  • Playbooks/Strategy key customers/products

Pricing Analytics
  • Ensure the effectiveness of Book Price
  • Identify & drive for solutions for low margin business
  • Monitor agreement performance
  • Identify and investigate transactional pricing leakage
  • Use advanced analytics to identify problem and opportunity
  • Develop/improve reporting on metrics

Communication
  • Balancing Stakeholders (Sales, PM, Customers, Finance )
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complicated tasks
  • Influence without authority

Market/ Customer/ Product
  • Segmenting of industries and customers
  • Applying market/supply chain insights and rules into pricing decisions
  • Making recommendations for pricing opportunities

People Management

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • College degree in economics, finance, statistics, business or comparable experience
  • 6+ years of experience in pricing or equivalent type role
  • 5+ years of experience as people leader or equivalent leadership role
  • 4-year degree required
  • MBA preferred

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $144,400 - $216,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
