Your New Role...
CNN seeks a talented Director of Production to join the Program Development team in Los Angeles!
Your Role Accountabilities...
The Director of Production will act as a network representative between third party production companies, filmmakers, and Warner Bros. Discovery partners throughout the production process. They will assist the Original Series department and Business Affairs in managing all current production workflows from pre-production through post-production & delivery for CNN Original Series. Under the supervision of the SVP of Original Series, they will help oversee all key elements of the production process for each project including Budgeting, Agreements & Contracts, Scheduling, Invoicing and Payments, Cost Reporting, Financial Reporting, and Deliverables.
Your Qualifications & Experience...

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years producing experience in cable, national or major media markets.
• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills.
• High level organizational skills, ability to prioritize and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Responsible for all technical and administrative aspects of production in assigned areas.
• Will ensure productions meet network creative, technical, and business goals.
• Communicate between production companies and commissioned filmmakers throughout production process.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $112,003.00 - $208,005.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
