Job Description

As part of the Product Management team with Dematic's Global Product and Solution Organization you will be responsible for leading program managers with driving strategic execution of program management quality, governance and reporting. Execute key workstreams that will allow Dematic to scale towards our $10B OI aspiration by 2027. This role will report directly to the VP of Global Product Management.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:
  • Responsible for leading program managers to drive excellence in execution across all programs workstreams.
  • Champion Product Management vision, goals, and processes to achieve Dematic strategic objectives.
  • Mentor, Develop and Support team of Program Managers to drive excellence with program execution.
  • Drive team capabilities to ensure delivery program management quality, governance and reporting.
  • Define and continuously improve Program Management processes and use of supporting tools
  • Understand and continually drive team towards program acceptance criteria to ensure program satisfaction and success.
  • Responsible for the change management to deploy the tools across key programs, reinforce and continually improve.
  • Apply standard project schedule planning tools. Responsible for change management to deploy the tools across the Client Program, reinforce and continually improve.
  • Manage program scope and utilize change controls relative to requests that impact program scope and schedule.
  • Collaborate with product management team and other stakeholders to deliver the program/projects on time and on budget
  • Document program team feedback to drive process improvements for inflight and future projects
  • Ensure standard work and execution framework is followed, periodically evaluate, provide feedback on improvements in the standard work and tools.
  • Identify project and program staffing needs, follow HR processes for requisitions once approved.
  • Collaborate to continually improve onboarding, training materials and programs for Product Management Team.
  • Represent Dematic in internal project reviews, as well as external Customer meetings.
  • Actively support program/project retrospectives and knowledge share across and within Program teams

What We are Looking For:
  • 8-10 years of management/leadership experience in related industry or expertise
  • 5 years of program/project management experience
  • Track record of successful program delivery
  • Proven ability to lead internal resources through problem solving and set expectations with customers.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and TestRail, Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MSProject
  • Demonstratable understanding of the supply chain market place, ideally in an eCommerce, omnichannel, distribution environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering discipline, or equivalent experience in a similar field
  • PMP certification, like certification, or wiliness to achieve preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to embrace a Hybrid work environment, including remote work and visits to Dematic offices and Customer sites
  • Willingness to travel 30%
