Director, Program Management

THE POSITION

The Program Management Team at Cosm oversees our digital products' on-time delivery, providing our customers with best-in-class entertainment experiences. We seek a Director of Program Management to lead a team of Program Managers focused on driving projects, managing dependencies, and lending support to our Product, Design, and Engineering Teams. In this leadership role, you are expected to provide an expert voice in program management activities throughout the product development lifecycle. In addition, this role will give higher-level program management duties such as planning and coordinating critical cross-departmental initiatives.

*The base salary range for this position is $165,000-$185,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

• As the lead responsible for our ways of working, work collaboratively with the Product, Engineering, and Design teams to identify and implement delivery process improvements and enhancements.
• Responsible for facilitating solutions, removing obstacles, and shielding the team from interruptions to assist the team with meeting their delivery goals.
• Manage and coach a team of program managers, drive career planning and performance management to help them level up their skills, execute their plans, and deliver results.
• Measure program performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Maintain and improve project management tools (JIRA and Smartsheet) and project dashboards.
• Contribute to strategic decisions with Program, Product, Design, and Engineering Leads.
• Facilitate meetings with team members across different disciplines in multiple time zones.
• Promote team spirit and engagement.
• Push the limits, try new approaches, take calculated risks, swing for the fences, and proactively search for the best solutions and ideas in the marketplace.

THE PERSON

We seek a passionate, hands-on, experienced program management leader to lead and support key fast-growing projects for our Product Development team.

• You have a passion for driving complex digital projects to successful delivery.
• You have shown solid leadership, leading teams and projects to deliver successful outcomes.
• You use industry-standard methodologies for scheduling, tracking, and executing projects and initiating, planning, and executing cross-functional programs.
• You can execute and deliver successfully in situations with respectful authority.
• You will work with your team to successfully implement the right processes to manage and support project delivery.

Pivotal Experience, Expertise & Personal Characteristics:

• 7+ years’ experience in planning, tracking, and monitoring using Agile Principles across multi-disciplinary teams, including Engineering, Product, Design, QA, and IT.
• 7+ years of proven work experience managing complex digital projects through the full lifecycle.
• Agile experience is mandatory, and PMI/PMP is a plus.

• External client-facing and vendor experience.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with other functional areas of the organization to deliver a seamless experience for the client and key internal stakeholders.
