- Supervisory Probationary Period: This is a supervisory position. Under provisions of the Civil Service Reform Act, first time supervisors and/or managers will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period. You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.

Qualifications
GS-15: Applicant must have at least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-14 level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors) performing the following duties:
- Reviewing a statutory, regulatory, and/or policy compliance program to ensure requirements are met;
- Evaluating policies for a workforce development or career development program to support individuals who are blind or significantly disabled;
- Assessing a third party program's procedures to ensure compliance with federal statutes and regulations including labor and employment laws; and
- Assigning work to subordinates and/or arranging staff training for professional development.
