Job Description

Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term position.

The Director of Program Strategy & Insights is responsible for the growth and optimisation of Keypath's postgraduate degree program portfolio and for leading the data strategy and analytics initiatives to drive strategic decision-making across the organisation.

This role reports to the Executive Director of Customer Experience and Sales, oversees a small team of specialists, and works closely with colleagues across Keypath’s Leadership, Account Management, Marketing, Sales, Learning Design and IT teams.

The Director of Program Strategy and Insights is accountable for:

Strategic leadership of the product function, ensuring that

• The product pipeline is prioritised and managed to achieve revenue targets and strategic partner priorities.
• Keypath, in collaboration with our university partners, launch in-demand programs that are positioned appropriately in the market and contribute to a diversified product portfolio.
• Product development efforts seek to identify, design and develop new markets, partnerships, and program opportunities outside of existing postgraduate degree product lines, with a particular focus on healthcare.
• All products are informed by market and customer insights and have clear customer value propositions.
• In collaboration with the marketing and sales functions, Keypath implement go-to-market strategies that best position products for success.
• Product management is advocated for and influenced in the marketing and sales teams.

Oversight of market research activities including internally conducted secondary and primary research, and outsourced primary research.

Managing the Insights roadmap to ensure actions are being taken to get to a position of being able to seamlessly deliver actionable insights. This involves driving towards greater data completeness and accuracy, improved data integration, and streamlined access to the necessary systems and tools.

Leading improvements in reporting capabilities to deliver useful and streamlined performance reporting, management reporting and forecasting to drive business decision-making.

Leading insights capability development, both within the Insights team and the adoption of an insights-led approach across other teams within Keypath.

Leading and developing a high-performing team.

The Director of Program Strategy and Insights is a leadership role within the broader Growth team, and as such is required to lead strategic projects and lead the team on best practices of product development, product management, market research and insights.

Qualifications

Education

• Relevant degree or qualification in Product Management, Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or similar.

Experience

• 15+ years relevant experience
• Experienced at using data insights to drive strategic decisions that lead to improved commercial outcomes
• Experienced people leader, having developed and managed senior and strategic teams in complex environments
• Highly developed stakeholder management and influencing skills, with demonstrated experience influencing across teams and functions
• Knowledge of a wide range of industries and regions, with strong understanding of the business of higher education providers of benefit
• Experience with planning and managing budgets and working towards defined financial targets

• Operational leadership excellence - Champion our ‘ways of working’ across functions and within the team to drive optimal efficiency and effectiveness outcomes.
• Change management - ability to drive change and capability improvements within the team and in other functions
• Driving Insights capabilities - Strong understanding of database systems and data warehousing methodologies and proficiency in analysis and developing sound insights from data. Proven data visualisation, storytelling and presentation skills.
• Effective communication - excellent numeracy, literacy, and verbal communication skills with a fastidious attention to detail
