Director, Project Management
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Director, Project Management to join our team
This position is based in our Frisco, TX office and will have a hybrid scheduled (3 days in the office and 2 days work from home on a weekly basis)
- Work with the Group Account Director to establish the organizational structure of the department, define the roles, and establish or refine the processes and best practices that will ensure our Project Management group is highly effective and efficient at bringing our creative product to life.
- Lead a group of 10-20 omni-channel Project Management experts of all levels, and provide them with clear responsibilities, goals, and career development.
- Manage the team responsible for establishing schedules and meeting milestones, including project kickoffs, internal creative reviews and handoffs between internal and external partners.
- Oversee project scoping, leveling, and costs upfront; anticipate and respond to shifts in priorities, tasks, resources and/or requirements on an on-going basis.
- Ensure team members are trained on and utilize established agency tools for managing workflow, timetables, scopes and budgets.
- Collaborate with Creative and Account management to assign resources to new projects.
- Work closely with Directors of Design Production and Content Production to ensure responsibilities are being transferred seamlessly from PM to Producers, when appropriate.
- Partner with Creative Operations to track and manage overall agency capacity, including internal resources and external contractors, partners and vendors.
- Ensure risks are mitigated and properly communicated and escalated across the organization.
- Operate as a player-coach, not just managing the group but also leading by example, personally taking the reins on mission critical projects and/or when extra hands and brains are needed.
- Champion and contribute to a culture of diversity, inclusion, personal growth, winning, and fun.
- Minimum 10+ year's experience in Project Management in a creative environment.
- Agency experience and knowledge across multiple media/asset types a plus.
