Has experience leading large scale projects, driving continuous improvement activities, strong leadership skills, demonstrates total ownership and accountability; demonstrates the ability to plan, execute, control and deliver.

This position is responsible for....

Providing strong leadership to plan, direct, coordinate, and execute on completion of corporate initiative projects or other significant projects. S/he is responsible for all goals and objectives of project, including completion within prescribed time frame and funding parameters, by performing project management duties personally or through others.

Your day will be very busy... you will:

  • Utilizes influence to lead various cross functional project teams comprised of but not limited to marketing, engineering, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, IT, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure completion of the projects.
  • Develops project plans including defining the project goals and objectives, activities, milestones, costs of project, equipment, and other resource requirements.
  • Manages project plan execution and identification of critical path activities.
  • Provides overall strategic governance for projects by establishing standards, processes and tools used for effective project delivery.
  • Interfaces with functional areas to establish work plans and resourcing for each project and project phase.
  • Coordinates project personnel activities to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budgets.
  • Communicates status of projects to company executives and other stakeholders, appropriately escalating issues as needed.
  • Identifies and manages project risks using collective experience of the team and leadership.
  • Uses technical expertise and business acumen to drive project decisions to maximize customer satisfaction and business performance.
  • Manages project personnel conflicts to provide council, ensure appropriate resources, and resolve challenges.
  • Conducts project and status meetings to effectively drive project activities and decisions.
  • Leverages leading project management tools and methodologies to improve team execution and collaboration.
  • May mentor other project management professionals in the organization.

What your background will be:

  • Bachelor's Degree or project management certification and 10+ years of applicable project management experience.
  • Experience in medical device and manufacturing preferred.
  • Computer proficient to include Microsoft Project, web browser/internet search, MS Outlook, MS Office to include Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce presentation-ready slides in PowerPoint. Technical competence includes the ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Experience with Oracle advantageous.

Salary/Pay Range: $130,000 - $160,000 annual base.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary/pay across all US locations. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a variable compensation plan.
