Director, Project Management - Remote CA only

Position Purpose: Develop and maintain a Project Management Office (PMO). Responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of multiple projects to support business objectives through project planning and implementation. Responsible for project management methodology and standard reporting.

SUPPORTING NATOMAS AND WOODLAND HILLS OFFICES

• Manage a large group of Project/Program Managers that support Regulatory, Legal and Strategic initiatives• Supporting and coaching the PMs through their projects• Facilitating stakeholders to make key decisions• Developing strategic approaches to managing programs• Provide leadership and oversight of the business unit's implementation processes; managing company adherence to standard implementation processes• Coordinate cross-functional tasks between various internal and external areas to ensure successful project outcomes• Communicate project status to all internal and external stakeholders• Mentor project team members and stakeholders using appropriate tools and techniques in order to increase and maintain commitment to portfolio objectives

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field. Master's degree preferred. 7+ years of project management experience, including government programs health care or related experience in multiple areas of operations. Must be proficient with MS-Project or other project management software and MS-Office applications. Previous management experience including responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of staff.

License/Certification: Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) and Health Care Certification preferred.
