Job Summary
The Director, Physician & Leadership Recruitment executes performance management, professional development and consultative recruitment sales strategies with divisional production team in order to exceed plan expectations and outperform competitive forces ultimately impacting division financial performance. The Director, Physician & Leadership Recruitment is also responsible for leading by example and managing their own full cycle recruiting desk.
Job Responsibilities
- Reviews and approves all client & HP agreements in terms of rate ranges, fees and contract terms in order to determine likelihood of placement and revenue potential as well as legal compliance.
- Manages escalated customer situations on behalf of team members (e.g. contract clarification and disputes) in order to preserve loyalty and market share.
- Strategizes with counterparts to evaluate projection components (i.e. days filled, specialty mix, average daily rate) and implement action plans that address fluctuating regional performance in order to exceed monthly budget quota.
- Evaluates trends within vertical and horizontal markets/lines of business in order to identify potential strategic opportunities and partnerships using an entrepreneurial approach.
- Models best practices by observing and providing coaching in order to continuously improve training delivery while running their own full cycle recruiting desk.
- Assesses divisional training needs and performance data in order to develop & implement results-based training curriculum that addresses performance gaps.
- Facilitates team meetings to determine individual performance progress and weekly goals by discussing presentations, open jobs, hot docs, pending contracts/jobs in order to expedite marriages.
- Conducts monthly/quarterly individual meetings with team members to assess production results and consultative sales approach in order to project quarterly performance and discuss team member obstacles & dynamics.
- Evaluates daily and weekly team member production according to top grading criteria in order to coach and implement action plans using the performance improvement plan process.
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree | Preferred
- Minimum Work Experience
- Active affiliation with appropriate professional healthcare networks and organizations.
- Experience building strong business relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers, experience maintaining confidential and sensitive information.
- 7+ years in a healthcare staffing role.
- Experience with Salesforce.
- 4+ years in a management or supervisory role.
