Realtor.com is seeking a Regional Vice President, Rentals Sales to drive partnerships with Property Management Companies in a defined geographic region and further our listing partnerships and revenue for the Rentals category. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of building our Rentals Sales Team and Business Strategy. This individual will have an unparalleled grasp of the Property Management Company marketplace, the Property Management Systems within, and have strong industry connections and career experience. This leader will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships as well as new business development with key multifamily property owners, management companies, industry associations, and REITs nationwide. In addition, you will work directly with VP, Rentals Sales to build, lead, develop and motivate our sales team to drive growth. As a leader, you will be both player and coach, be able to contribute to long-term strategies, construct compelling brand stories, create solutions for customers, and ultimately achieve our revenue and business objectives across our products.
Responsibilities
Drive and manage sales strategy by account, manage pipeline, prospect and secure top level meetings, and ultimately sell through / get commitment to our products and services
Deliver on revenue and listing coverage targets
Effectively build and manage a high-performance sales team and support them in all of the above activities
Responsible for executing sales targets, goals, and the systems that drive success
Manage partner relationships on an ongoing basis
Player / coach role with individual and team quotas
Deliver deep industry knowledge, insight, and contacts in a sales environment
In partnership with the Product and Go-To-Market teams, develop strategies for advertising and solutions growth
Develop proposals and sales materials for strategic accounts
Recommend, plan, and attend national and local industry association and client events
Help to build product awareness with internal Sales team and external clientsÂ
Support product sell-through and commitments, working with Sales, Product, and Account Management teams on execution
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
8+ years of sales / marketing experience with a proven track record in sales, leads and sales funnels
Experience managing an effective sales team with consistent goal attainment
Deep understanding of the Property Management Company and Property Management Systems landscape including key decision makers, business models, competitive forces, and strategic issues
Developed key relationships in the rental multifamily industry
Experience in working with and selling to large accounts and delivering the highest service levels to these clients
Comfortable in all selling situations and interfacing directly with senior decision making clients.
Understanding of listing data collection, technologies, and standards
Ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach.
Results and detail-oriented.
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem solving/decision making skills.
