Director, Revenue Accounting

The Director of Revenue Accounting will lead a small and very productive functional team for a rapidly growing open-source software company.  This role will be responsible for the end-to-end billing to cash cycle, with a heavy emphasis on technical revenue recognition skills (606) and our customers’ experience.  In addition, this individual will work closely with upstream cross-functional teammates (such as Sales Ops, Go To Market, Customer Success and FP&A) to influence system changes and sales positioning of our products. 

As Grafana Labs continues to grow organically and through acquisitions, this role will also be responsible for ensuring revenue integration of newly acquired entities and new internal product launches while maintaining accurate revenue recognition throughout.  The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of US GAAP, have excellent analytical and communication skills, and have experience with SaaS, on-premise and professional services revenue streams.  This position will report into our VP of Finance (Accounting).
