Job Description
The Director of Revenue Cycle Services – Infusion is responsible for the management, growth and successful execution of Revenue Cycle Services (RCS) for Home Infusion/Specialty Pharmacy/DME with trained billers/collectors. This includes: client relations, account management and satisfaction, timely completion of revenue cycle work per client agreement, revenue cycle audit, and implementation of new clients. In addition, the position is responsible for arranging educational content for clients, implementing technology, coordinating departmental priorities, monitoring production, and meeting targets for the RCS team.
A Day in the Life!
Key Activities:
- Directs the productivity and success of revenue cycle operations
- Manages day to day benchmark of operations for revenue cycle staff including organization of training, education and ongoing monitoring of productivity and quality
- Provides leadership to staff and interacts to insure the highest level of success and client satisfaction within WellSky Advisory & Outsourced Services (AOS) revenue cycle division
- Serve as AOS liaison with all clients which includes: producing monthly client reports, reviewing data during meetings, monitor denied claims, review trends, and update clients with future regulatory changes
- Works with Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services to ensure bookings, revenue and EBITDA contribution to AOS financials is achieved
- Works with the Training Specialist to develop and implement training programs Â
- Coordinates revenue cycle services to ensure delivery in accordance with operational support, policies, and procedures to ensure appropriate revenue cycle practices, regulatory and contractual compliance
- Work with the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services to maintain adequate supply of highly trained staff that ensure customer satisfaction
- Proactively seek and attempt to learn information and skills related to the position and be responsible for generating new ideas and new approaches that will help advance all services and programs of AOS
- Ensure and promote confidentiality of client and AOS business and client proprietary, privileged information
- Assist with specifying product requirements for current and future products

Competencies/Requirements:
- Experience healthcare billing/cash posting/denied claims management, supervision and training
- Experience of 10 years in healthcare industry management, required
- Comprehensive understanding of the general and technical aspects of the job
- Solid knowledge of spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel), presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint), word processing (Microsoft Word)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of personnel within the organization, including presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
- Ability to identify and properly handle complex issues requiring a high level of expertise in making decisions
- Ability to work independently with efficient time management skills, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
- Ability to coach and train staff
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as well as make decisions within the scope of assigned authority
- Travel Required: Travel including local, regional, and national as the Department needs necessitate, reasonable estimate of up to 25% travel
