Director, Revenue Operations

Good news! 1WorldSync is looking for a Director, Revenue Operations (RevOps) to join our team either at our Chicago, IL headquarters or remotely.
1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With 400 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Mexico, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we're seeking a Director, Revenue Operations to support our growing global team.
Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Director, Revenue Operations provides the critical link between 1WorldSync product strategy, sales, customer success and marketing execution. The person in this role will work with the commercial teams to develop and execute a multi-faceted operations plan to support the organization's growth objectives. Responsible for reporting and analytics for the 1WorldSync commercial organizations, this person will establish and monitor sales, customer success and marketing metrics, activities, and results against goals. This position works closely with the leaders of the customer-facing, finance, and Marketing organizations to develop plans for sales productivity, processes, and methodology.
As Director, Revenue Operations at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
- Proactively identifying issues and solutions to make business flow better for the sales, customer success and marketing teams, and working on problems of moderate to complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
- Building and executing on standard 1WorldSync weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational cadence utilizing key metrics to drive forecast accuracy and identify areas of opportunity.
- Responsible for all reporting and analytics for the 1WorldSync organization. Establishes, tracks and monitors metrics and activities (funnel, pipeline reporting) and results against goals.
- Supporting 1WorldSync leadership in creation of internal content/presentations to articulate business strategy, challenges, opportunities, and results
- Aligns product, sales, customer success and marketing with materials to support product and service updates and new product rollouts.
- Working with the sales, customer success and marketing leaders to identify and implement strategy and operational changes and enhancements as appropriate.
- Supporting the budget management process and ensuring all expenses are submitted accurately, and proper documentation stored.
- Ensuring the development, interpretation, and application of accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and budgeting data.
- Leading list management, data analytics and data cleansing activities for both internal and external customer use.
- Collaborating with the technology team on reporting and analytics needs.
- Collaborating with HR to develop ongoing training and development, including our new hire onboarding process.
- Ensuring effective integration and application of customer lists and other key data from disparate sources.
- Qualifying, improving, and distributing customer list data, generating effective call lists for the use of inside sales and other outbound initiatives
- Supporting new business activity through development and delivery of effective lead generation.
- Supporting new client campaign needs by collaborating with the relevant sales and Community Enablement team resources.
- Establishing and implementing efficient, effective, repeatable sales processes.
- Providing support to account management and existing sales activities as needed.
- Following and participating in security practices as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 15+ years of business experience in analytics, marketing, sales, customer success, sales ops and/or finance in SaaS organizations.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Expertise in list management / customer analytics development, analysis, delivery, and application.
- Experience effectively leading and managing in a matrixed environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field. MBA is desirable.
- Experience in CRM Systems, NetSuite preferred.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Excellent financial modeling / analytics skills.
- Leads by example. Demonstrates a bias toward action, results orientation, and a style conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
- Proven ability to build effective relationships - one on one, one to many, internally and externally.
- Experience working across multi-functional areas; works well within a matrix organization. Ability to build consensus and effectively direct virtual teams.
- Excellent people leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to build and lead highly effective teams with a proven track record of hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining outstanding professionals.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Experience functioning as an effective change agent within an organization.
- Able to build credibility and function as an effective and respected ally of other senior leaders internally and externally.
