About the Team

In the Revenue Operations (RevOps) Data Management Team we support Workday's objectives to drive Revenue Growth, Scale, Customer Experience, and Data Driven decisions through projects that craft the availability, quality, and knowledge of data across the Go-To-Market and Enterprise.

The team includes a small (< 5) Data Stewards/Strategists and a Data Operations team (~20 Data Quality Analysts) who support day-to-day data cleansing and data enrichment projects. We are globally located in Dublin Ireland, Warsaw Poland, Pleasanton California, and now Atlanta Georgia.

The Data Management team works in partnership with Cross-Functional GTM Business Stakeholders, Business Technology (IT), and the Enterprise Data Governance Team & Council with an emphasis on driving Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Enterprise Program requirements and use cases.

About the Role

We are looking for a Director who will manage the Data Stewards and Strategists as well as the Manager of the Data Operations team.

You will collaborate with functional leaders to understand how data and data requirements support the strategy of business to set the vision and detailed priorities for the Data Management team. In addition, you will actively participate in critical project cadences (steering committees, working groups, prioritization, etc.) to provide advisory input and act as a point of escalation, while also being responsible for the execution and quality of the team's processes and deliverables. You will work closely with the Enterprise Data Governance Management team to maintain alignment, jointly define operating models and roles & responsibilities.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have hands-on-experience working with complex GTM business & data requirements, a background in the technology industry, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and process improvement experience. The individual must demonstrate an ability to be a self-starter who drives for performance but also values team culture and creating positive experiences!

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ Years experience in roles related to data strategy, data systems, or data governance
• 5+ years experience managing a team of functional and technical resources executing data, system, or process improvement initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business discipline

Other Qualifications

• Experience and proven knowledge with enterprise scale data enrichment strategies, systems, and implementations
• Experience managing a team and service that provides day-to-day operational support to users
• Experience with data stewardships, data documentation best practices, and approaches to triage, plan, and drive recommendations and solutions
• Understanding of common go to market data requirements from Accounts (addressable market expansion & management), contact and leads, as well as transaction data such as Products, Orders, Entitlements, Opportunities, and ACV Bookings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable speaking publicly to large audiences of senior leaders and executives
• Passionate about driving success by helping internal customers succeed
• Preference for being in a fast-paced environment with responsibility for driving the success of hugely impactful initiatives
• Creating collaborative work environments while never forgetting to have fun and laugh
