The Role

The mission of the Director of Sales is to own and grow the new business team. You will be responsible for managing frontline managers and creating a high-performing team focused on driving the acquisition of new facilities. You will pioneer new methods of going to market, hiring an all-star team, and growing the existing team to reach its full potential. You will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy for this part of our organization.

The impact you’ll make:

  • Be a mentor, leader, and coach for your team, helping them realize their full potential

  • Recruit, hire, and develop new team members to become long-term, successful contributors to Medely’s business

  • Coach your sales team by directly participating and leading client meetings, creating and executing account strategies to drive deals forward efficiently

  • Forecast and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual pipeline and revenue goals

  • Partner across sales leadership and company leadership to represent customers' needs and challenges

  • You must love taking a consultative sales approach with many different personas

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of sales management experience

  • 3+ years of experience building and leading a sales team within a hyper-growth business, combined with a track record of consistent overachievement

  • You've managed a sales team inclusive of frontline managers

  • You have a passion for building a customer-first, high-performing sales culture

  • Experience in marketplace sales is a significant plus

  • High level of business judgment and proven ability to navigate hyper-growth markets
