PURPOSE STATEMENT
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding our client base, and strengthening our market presence within the 3PL industry.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
What you'll be doing:
Sales• Support the various Sales leaders to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. • Work closely with our Account Managers, offering support and mentoring to enhance their sales performance.• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high satisfaction levels.• Proactively identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings.• Prepare and present proposals to clients, outlining service offerings and pricing.• Business process owner for companywide CRM system, establishing best practices, providing training and effectively use CRM tools to manage and track sales activities. • Generate regular reports on sales performance, trends, and forecasts.• Process owner for pipeline of prospects including dead(dormant) accounts, house accounts, and new prospects. Provide transparent process for account clearance and assignment.• Implement corrective actions and strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, market conditions, and competitor activities. Provide regular communication to sales team on industry news.• Utilize market insights to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth.• Develop, implement, and manage KPIs for sales associates that are aligned with overall business objectives.• Position includes direct reporting of various sales positions and indirect reporting of corporate wide sales associates. • Travel to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in business development activities.
Marketing• Primary liaison with outside marketing firm.• Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.• Manage all internal requests for marketing literature. • Business cards - vendor selection, design, and coordinate with managers to ensure business cards are distributed as needed.• Digital marketing - provide support for activities handled internally as well coordinate with external marketing firm.• Company apparel and giveaways (pens, paper, lanyards, mousepads) - Design, vendor bids, ordering. Work with office manager to inventory and distribute to offices, sales, customers• Digital marketing efforts for talent acquisition and domestic carrier engagement.• Work with various divisions/offices to support localized, targeted marketing needs.• Identify trade show opportunities and coordinate all activities related to Trade shows.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- 5 plus years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the 3PL industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in sales and marketing software/tools.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$144,400.00 - $216,600.00
