Director, Security & Compliance

In this position, you will manage company-wide compliance activities and programs which include the development and implementation of appropriate compliance policies, procedures, major compliance initiatives, risk assessment, and to ensure that the business achieves optimum compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a crucial role engaging with security auditors, customers, and vendors. What you'll do:

• Experience and technical depth in PCI, SOC1, SOC2, SOX, ISO 27001, CCPA, and GDPR
• Ability to project manage various concurring compliance activities
• Capable of proactively maintain a centralized, secure, well-organized, pristine, current set of evidences for auditors
• Experience maintaining and developing policies, procedures and standards that meet existing and newly regulatory requirements
• Advocate and understand how to create a culture of compliance and governance leveraging APIs in a cloud environment
• Eagerness to move compliance beyond the checklist. Work experience with public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.
• Proven track record of driving compliance programs to completion year over year as a practitioner and as a manager
• Serve as compliance subject matter expert providing guidance
• Respond to occasional prospect and customer security review questionnaires
• Manage and review vendor compliance
• Exercise good judgment around the balance of compliance and business needs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoy partnering with engineering, product, HR, Customer Success, Sales, IT, Finance and many other teams to address compliance issues
• Ability to assess the organization's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
• Keep abreast of regulatory developments as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

What you'll bring:

• Experience as a consultant/auditor
• Degree in computer science (BSCS) or equivalent
• MBA
• ISACA's Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• IAPP's Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Professional experience working in SaaS/Cloud native companies
• Professional experience working with highly regulated industries
