Director - Security Operations, HQ - (M6)

Scope of Position

Manage the development, oversight and execution of strategic Security programs and initiatives for Applied Material's HQ function. This role requires a unique combination of security/safety expertise coupled with deep program management and strategic initiatives development experience.

Key Accountabilities

• Budget / results accountability for assigned projects, programs and initiatives
• Assist in the development of Applied Materials Security & Business Resiliency Program and related capabilities implementation around Federal Programs, guard force services deployment, investigations, events security, emergency preparedness, and managing workplace violence prevention initiatives
• Provide oversight to end to end guard force services deployment for HQ
• Ensure that support staffing meets site specific needs, while applying a "value-based" approach
• Works cross-functionally to develop KPI's & SLA's in areas of responsibility
• Leverage internal case management system to ensure proper staffing deployment
• Assist in development of security awareness and training programs
• Other strategic initiatives / projects as needed

Professional Expertise/ Knowledge

• Industry best practices and metrics defining operational performance
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams around safety and business continuity program process implementation and emergency management (ICS) - preferably in global corporation setting
• Strategic planning / program management in global security domain
• Knowledge of estimating and cost associated with various system applications

Experience

• 10+ years in a similar role within a multi-national corporate security team
• Experience in program management / strategic planning & initiatives
• Former corporate security / law enforcement / military experience highly desired

U.S. Salary Range:

$168,000.00 - $231,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
