Cambria is seeking an highly experienced, Director, Social Media Strategy & Content. This individual will lead the social media team and be responsible for all related projects on Cambria-owned social properties. They will work closely with Cambria's executive leadership to prioritize communications and will play a leadership role in the strategic direction, development and implementation of the company's social media and content strategy. This includes social media-led and integrated campaigns and content creation to increase awareness, engagement and greater connection to Cambria's customers.

The Director, Social Media Strategy & Content will provide leadership and support for end-to-end social media campaigns and content, including developing strategies and creative direction in partnership with the marketing team. This role will develop the annual plan and strategy for the company's social media presence, including activation across platforms and mediums. The role also includes defining appropriate reporting and metrics dashboards, as well as monitoring of social media policies and compliance - working with Cambria's legal and compliance teams. They will partner closely with our marketing leadership team, digital marketing, PR/media relations, internal communications, creative, events, product marketing and channel marketing. Cambria's social media team and work closely with our social and influencer partners. This role reports to the Vice President, Brand & Retail Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction for the company's social media presence with a focus on building the channel's followers, engagement and lead generation aligned with key business and marketing priorities
  • Develop/write/create compelling social media content in partnership with the company's marketing and communications teams
  • Oversight of the social media editorial calendar, campaign and content development, publishing, reporting and policies/compliance
  • Ownership of integrated social programs (paid and organic) end-to-end, including drafting briefs, setting goals and objectives, creative ideation, implementation and distribution planning, reporting and optimization
  • Build strong relationships with internal partners to develop social campaigns and content that help Cambria reach goals and metrics
  • Make key day-to-day decisions on social content development that deliver on the overarching social strategy and Cambria brand guidelines
  • Work directly with our social and influencer partners and work closely with account leads at key social platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube) to identify new activation opportunities
  • Understand the pulse of the social landscape and identify insights and opportunities to help keep Cambria at the forefront of our B2C and B2B audiences including competitive analysis, best practices and bringing fresh, creative and eye-grabbing ideas and content to the business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction for the company's social media presence with a focus on building the brand's various channels' followers engagement and lead generation aligned with key business and marketing priorities. These imclude; @CambriaSurfaces, @CambriaCares, @CambriaMortgage, and @CambriaTitle.
  • Supervise social media team, lead growth plans, concepts, vision and development strategy for all social media.
  • Partner with marketing teams to extend brand identity, brand look/feel and position into social channels.
  • Inspire ideas for continuous improvement of customer and consumer engagement.
  • Develop/write/create compelling social media content in partnership with the company's marketing and communications teams for company channels as well as personal channels
  • Be the social media brand advocate example for the company by utilizing personal social channels to amplify brand voice, social selling, etc.
  • Effectively communicate and build trust with senior executives and internal stakeholders and partners and drive alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with sales leadership to cross train teams on social selling and other sales engagement tactics.
  • Work closely with IT and digital teams to ensure technology is current and audience monitoring is in place
  • Partner on marketing opportunities to cultivate brand partnerships between Cambria and like-minded brands in kitchen, bath, and luxury space.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience independently leading social marketing programs that drive business results.
  • Ability to develop high-level strategies and lead tactical execution.
  • Consistent record of creating innovative storytelling and engagement approaches for B2C and B2B audiences.
  • A track record of social media strategy, planning, analytics/reporting experience.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously, successfully delivering the required results.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to get things done efficiently and correctly.
  • Highly collaborative and used to working with many cross-functional partners.
  • Flexibility in solving challenges at project and staff levels. Troubleshoot with positive, supportive leadership.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to lead remote teams, providing constructive feedback.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience developing and presenting reports and metrics that easily communicate the impact social media has on the overall marketing mission.
  • Experience working with and leading creative and media agencies, and partnering with internal creative teams.
  • Must be able to prioritize, adapt, and multi-task without compromising attention to detail.
  • Forward-thinking and well-organized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

Managerial Responsibilities: Management of remote social media staff as well as headquarter-based teams in Eden Prairie, MN

Travel Requirements: Minimal domestic travel to support social engagement at event openings and other events.

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds for displays, samples and other marketing materials

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in design, visual communications, marketing or equivalent professional experience

Experience: Requires 15+ years of business management experience. Proficient in all social media platforms including but not limited to; Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. Creative leadership or design is a plus.

Systems: Workfront, Google Suite, MS Office, some knowledge of Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Oracle
