Director, Solutions Architecture

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a clearance. 

Required Experience, Education, & Skills: 

• 5+ years of hands-on technical solution development including experience with architecting solutions or similar relevant experience as a technologist 
• BS/BA and MS degree in IT; pursuing PHD in relevant technical field 
• Must have an understanding of a wide variety of technical capabilities, such as Agile Development (DevSecOps, SAFe, etc.), Cloud Migration, O&M and Enhancements, AI/ML, RPA, and other emerging technologies relevant to Dev Technology’s capabilities 
• Experience with technical aspects and solutioning related to business development and growth, including call plan execution in coordination with Business Development preferred 
• A high level of oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with clients and internally with various levels of leadership, capture and proposal operations, accounts and marketing 
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and develop an in-depth knowledge of government IT contracting, acquisition trends and customer buying behaviors  
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities to support solution architecture to meet growth goals 

What You'll Be Doing: 

• Responsible for leading out Solution Architecture for our Business Development team. This includes refining Dev Technology’s Solution Architecture process, identifying and training new Solution Architects across the company.  
• Responsible for fulfilling the SA role and leading out the technical solution for deals you are assigned to by leadership. 
• Work in collaboration with each BD Lead on their pipeline call plans and technical meetings to further qualify deals. 
• Work with the Chief Technologist to develop strategies to grow various technical capabilities that align to the Dev BD pipeline. 
• Act as a thought leader and represent Dev Technology at various conferences, events and industry forums including seeking out speaking engagements that further expand our branding and growth for Dev as agreed on and planned with VP, BD and Growth 
• Innovation and Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in relevant Dev Technology capabilities and technologies, techniques, and frameworks, and evaluate their potential applications within white space and other federal agencies to support the BD Leads technical expansion into white space and new customers.  
• Recruit, develop, and mentor future Solution Architects within Dev Technology of varying technical backgrounds to enable them to lead the development of solutions for our capture, proposal, and BD teams.
