DIRECTOR SOURCING BUSINESS

This position is responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution for the strategic sourcing department. Ideal candidate is required to appraise, improve, coach, develop and support team members while analyzing external spend and opportunities as well as developing strong strategic relationships with suppliers. This position will directly work with Senior Management. This position must demonstrate proficiency in sourcing best practices and applying them, understand roles and interrelationships of health system practices and suppliers, promote team consensus and assure optimized leverage of all requirements are achievable.

Candidate should have the following:

- Experience with Supply chain / Sourcing /Procurement processes

- Have experience working ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting

- Knowledge of Supply Chain / Sourcing / Procurement software and systems

- Experience with complex negotiations

- Advanced problem solving skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Strong drive for results

- Have great sense of urgency

Education/Skills

Bachelor's Degree. Five years' experience.

Understanding of market dynamics and business judgment; Familiarity with supply chain / procurement processes, ideally in a hospital or healthcare setting; Significant experience with complex negotiations; Familiarity with sourcing / procurement

software and systems

CPM, CPSM, CMRP or equivalent preferred
