We are seeking a collaborative and results-driven Director of Special Projects to coordinate and drive strategic initiatives across the business. Reporting to our Chief Operations Officer, this role will be a key member of our leadership team, helping translate company priorities into specific strategy or operational workstreams, then driving implementation.

This position ideally will be based out of our Corporate HQ in New Orleans, LA; however we will consider candidates working remotely within the United States who are open to travel, as needed, to New Orleans, LA.

Essential Job Functions

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with COO and senior leadership at large to manage the company’s top level priorities and define the company's special project roadmap, aligning with the overall business objectives.Β 
  • Strategy and Analytics: Engage in discrete analytical projects to quantify business inefficiencies associated with business critical projects and processes,Β  and craft cross-functional roadmaps to enact change across people, process, and technology.
  • Project Execution: Provide process leadership across strategic projects, working with departments to scope, plan, resource, and implement projects to successful completion, all the way through change management.
  • Strategy & Process Codification: Support and coach department heads and leaders to better codify strategy documents, develop process artifacts, and help shift PosiGen toward a stronger culture of documentation to drive more efficient operations and change management.Β 
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Organize project information and artifacts to help communicate the priority, strategy, and statuses of key projects to internal and external company stakeholders

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required in a field that includes quantitative coursework. MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible operational and/or financial experience.
  • Previous experience or working knowledge of residential solar development and financing strategies.
  • Expert-level Excel skills with demonstrated ability to create operating plans, analytic models, and strategic management recommendations, and execute upon such.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace preferred.
  • Strong spreadsheet and presentation skills.
