Director, Spine Sales and Strategy (REMOTE OPPORTUNITY)

Will be a expert in Spine bracing products, has a sales background, ability to develop and maintain relationships, and communicate effectively both written and verbal to individuals or groups; lead and influence others effectively; display strong work ethic and integrity; collaborate cross functionally. This position is responsible for
Developing and retaining customer relationships to drive business growth within hospital and clinic networks for the spine product and service lines. This role will be viewed as a subject matter expert (SME) and will develop and train others on spine bracing sales strategies.
Your day will be very busy... you will:
- Develops and executes a strategic sales strategy to drive business growth of the spine bracing product and service lines.
- Develops and executes an ongoing comprehensive sales training program to establish strong commercial competency of spine bracing products to prepare representatives for discussions with orthopedic spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain management doctors.
- Establish, maintain, and expand a network of key opinion leaders including orthopedic spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain management doctors, distributors, etc. to help drive the direction of the spine strategy.
- Partners with upstream marketing team and product managers to complete consultative sales meetings with customers to gain a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements of spine bracing products, interpret the voice of the customer, competitive analysis, and market insight to influence development of products and services to address new markets, increase market share, and improve our position in the industry.
- Partners with product development team and Breg partners to enhance spine bracing product lines.
- Monitors effectiveness of sales plan and modifies strategies and activities as necessary based on measurable results.
- Leadership responsibilities include the selection, development, performance management and continuous recalibration of staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels and resource allocation; performs administrative tasks associated with timekeeping, pay, performance management, policy administration and other matters related to employment.
- Assesses staff and provides timely and consistent feedback regarding technical proficiency and effectiveness. Provides constructive feedback, guidance, and reinforcement to employees regarding job performance. Works with staff to identify work goals and create individual development plans. Evaluates training programs to ensure content meets staff needs.
What your background will be:
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of study and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination. Master's degree is highly preferred. Relevant experience typically includes selling of spine bracing products (required).
- Proven success in building, training & leading sales and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated track record of commercial achievement in meeting/exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong professional relationships with orthopedic spine surgeons, neurosurgeons and pain management providers highly preferred.
- Experience designing & implementing successful omnichannel commercial strategies.
- Proficiency in establishing key metrics and goals and implementing commercial operations that use tools, process, and analysis to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance law, especially as it relates to Medicare billing, and familiar with the general healthcare business environment.

Salary/Pay Range: $160,000.00 - $223,000.00 per year plus annual target bonus.
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salary/pay across all US locations. Actual pay is based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographical location, work experience, skill set, relevant trainings and certifications, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and commission.
