Director, Sponsorship Account Manager

The Role
We are seeking a Director, Sponsorships to join our team. In this role, you will lead the execution of brand and partner activations, oversee all aspects of account management and help drive the vision and growth of brand sponsors for AXS. This position will work closely with the Global Sales, Content, Product and Marketing Teams and report directly to the SVP, Sponsorships. This position will also lead the ideation and execution of custom sponsorship campaigns. The right candidate will have extensive experience working with Sales teams and directly with clients, a passion for live events and a curiosity to always be learning nature.
What You’ll Do
- Primary point of contact for AEG Global Partnership Sales Team leadership.
- Oversee and manage a team of account managers, content creators and social media managers
- Responsible for developing the Product Catalog of all Sponsorship campaigns and integrations.
- Review and recommend new advertising technology partners.
- Contribute to the strategic vision and growth of the Sponsorship Team.
- Manage programmatic partner contracts and oversee partner performance.
- Develop sponsorship products, rate cards and sales materials.
- Oversee the ad operations and all technical ad integrations.
- Oversee and contribute to the sales life cycle including:
- Campaign ideation
- Determining client KPIs
- Creation of pitch decks
- Media plans
- Campaign summaries
- Case studies
- Responsible for training and team development.
- Lead brand activations on AXS and third party platforms including: web, mobile, app, socials, email and audience
- Coordinate the execution of brand activations with product, development and content teams.
- Partner with Finance and Sales Teams to keep campaigns on budget and achieve revenue targets.
- Standardize strategic post-campaign analysis and reporting.Â
- Develop case studiesÂ
- Interpret and translate campaign metrics and audience data into actionable initiatives.
- Accountable for the successful execution of brand and partner activations on AXS platforms.
- Responsible for leading team and client meetings.
- Support Finance Team with all revenue reporting and month end accounting functions.
What to Bring
- 8+ years experience in digital advertising and working with sales teams.
- Passion for live events and brand marketing.
- Curiosity to learn the live event ticketing industry.
- Proven track record of leading and growing teams.
- Comprehensive knowledge of digital media platforms and technologies.
- Experience with multi-channel campaigns and attribution metrics.
- Ability to think strategically about client needs, media packaging, technology integrations, budgets and KPIs.
- Thought leadership on advertising strategy, product development and marketing technology.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong budget management skills.
- Desire to support and contribute to the AXS Culture and Core Values.
