Director, Strategic Business Analyst

We're looking for a Director, Strategic Business Analyst to:

• Develop and design ETL framework to source data for dashboards and help in automating and scheduling processes in SAS. • Work with large complex data sets and write queries to design Banking data marts. • Develop high-quality data-driven analyses and strategies that provide key insights and illustrate business trends and drivers through effective data interpretation and visualization from large volumes of data from banking and capital markets. • Develop customer segmentation using large volume of internal customer behavioral, financial performance and demographic, credit bureau and financial holdings data. • Develop scorecards, static and interactive dashboards, data visualizations, data extracts, and other "descriptive analytics" to tactically meet the needs of banking stakeholders. • Design data pipelines that include components related to data acquisition, exploratory analysis, feature engineering, predictive model design/build and interactive storytelling. • Drive operational efficiency by maintaining data ecosystems, sourcing analytics expertise, and providing As-a-Service offerings for continuous insights and improvements. • Help establish and deliver key business metrics in a scalable and repeatable manner and perform deep data analysis to identify the potential root cause for certain trends or abnormalities. • Review and improve existing database systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems. • Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues. • Create, maintain, and deliver custom reports from a variety of structured and unstructured data sources. • Manage Tableau server, including organization of content, user roles, access.

Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement• This position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Management, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Data Science or a related field of study.

• Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)• The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a Information Management, Computer Engineering, Analytics, Data Science or a related field of study plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Senior Programmer, Data Scientist, or a related occupation.

• This position requires knowledge of the following:• Business Intelligence tools - Power BI, Tableau for Data Visualization• Data driving with the customer lifecycle, including acquisition, activation, churn or reactivation• KPI development, financial reporting & demand forecasting• Collecting and organizing data and working effectively with complex relational databases including Oracle Database, MySQL Databse• M.S Excel/Google Sheets modeling for demand management using Vlookups, Index-Match and other advanced functions• Python/R, SQL, SAS or other statistical software packages• Data driven customer lifecycle system using RFM analysis (recency, frequency & monetary) for client acquisition & adoption• Time series, design of experiments and attribution rules• Applying decision trees, regression analysis, neural networks, clustering and other data mining techniques• Extract meaningful insights from big data sets by building data visualization and data pipelines
