About The Role
Goop’s Strategic Partnerships department is looking to add an experienced Director level candidate to join the Sales team. You are experienced within sales and are eager to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you are comfortable delivering on revenue goals with a large volume list and lean teams.
- Drive revenue generation for the west coast territory – manage sales pipeline of running business, while sourcing + converting new business.
- Build client and agency relationships across categories with likeminded brands who are looking to engage with goop’s audience both online and offline.
- Manage client outreach, correspondence, and entertainment on a weekly basis educating partners on goop’s value proposition and roadmap of opportunities.
- Responsible for selling digital media programs as well as experiential offerings ie: tentpole events, first to market bespoke programs, goop retail and ecommerce. Ensure all programs meet client objectives and KPIs across all partnership touchpoints.
- Lead RFP initiation and ideation with internal teams across the company.
- Work closely with Strategic Partnerships division - Marketing, Client Services and Ad Ops teams - on pre-sale and post-sale phases to ensure partnership success.
- Participate in meetings with senior level executives, internally and externally
- Complete daily/weekly CRM updates to track business.
Qualifications & Experience
- 8-10+ years of experience in sales/partnerships
- Experience selling in the West Coast market with strong client/agency relationships
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present in group settings

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel, with experience in PowerPoint, Keynote
- Deep knowledge of digital media and experiential offerings

FAQÂ
- Compensation: $100,000 - $200,000 + Equity. Please note that this range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for the Los Angeles, CA based position. Goop, in good faith, reasonably expects to pay the position within this salary range. Goop provides the salary range in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, training, knowledge and skills, and if the location of the job changes.
