Director – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Transformation
Job Description
What You'll Do
- Build the strategic sourcing and category management practice capabilities and global delivery model to enhance delivery to our current client base
- Advise and oversee client stakeholders on their third party spend profile, the opportunity to reduce costs, and the ability to deliver sourcing engagements for clients to enhance bottom-line value
- Oversee client accounts, projects and engagements, including work plans, staffing, timelines, and budgets throughout all lifecycle phases and maintain an integrated project plan
- Mentor and lead teams through the spend analysis and delivery of strategic sourcing by coaching colleagues, providing regular ongoing feedback and annual performance reviews, and helping project teams resolve multi-faceted issues
- Actively participate in business development opportunities and market a full range of services to prospective clients including using existing relationships to generate new opportunities
- Guide clients and team members through the strategic sourcing process and identify improvement opportunities in category management, contract management, supplier management, and P2P
- Highlight opportunities for improvement to clients sourcing functions and identification of future state roadmap opportunities across the procurement operating model
- Lead teams through analysis of the procurement function, with a focus on people, process and technology, delivering valuable insights on opportunities for efficiency, risk mitigation and value delivery
- Guide analysis of large datasets, identify meaningful trends, and build cognitive approaches for improving supply chain performanceÂ
What You'll Bring:
- 12 + years advising public companies on IT strategy and governance, IT risk assessment, IT audit, cybersecurity, cloud computing, privacy and data protection, systems pre- and post-implementation reviews, third-party risk management, systems development life cycle controls assessment, data analytics, disaster recovery, IT regulatory compliance, and/or IT project risk management
- 12+ years prior experience in professional services (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members
- Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
