POSITION OVERVIEW
The Strategy Director is responsible for serving as the day-to-day strategic lead across a group of some of the agency’s most exciting and award-winning accounts. Your work will require deep understanding of our clients’ specific category, competition, and consumer insights, coupled with the ability to translate those insights into actionable and inspiring brand strategies. You will manage a team that includes a Senior Strategist and Strategist, and will ensure they work closely and collaboratively with the agency’s other strategic disciplines – data and engagement strategy. You will shape, sell, and champion Famously Effective ideas. You will also be charged with leading smaller new business opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Lead three significant client relationships and provide oversight on additional smaller ones
- Ensure strategic thinking is incorporated in all aspects of the agency’s work
- Manage a team where, in addition to shaping and elevating their output, you’ll guide their learning and career progression
- Work closely with creatives to brainstorm, generate thought starters, and actively help them hone their work
- Drive the strategic component of new business pitches
- Maintain a deep understanding of your brand’s market dynamics, customer mindset, competitive environment, brand goals, and industry trends
- Deliver insights that will inspire creative teams and meaningfully impact our clients’ businesses.
- Forge strong bonds with the most senior level clients
- Generate work including: competitive analysis, brand positioning, target profiles, market research synthesis, creative briefs, client workshops, point-of-view documents, thought leadership, and brand plans
- Craft well-written narratives that display a give for storytelling and persuasive delivery
- Work closely with creative teams to insight strategy presentations for new and existing business with an ability to analyze, reflect, distill and story-tell
- Contribute to the overall agency culture by modeling its core values
- Work cross-functionally within the agency to ensure the successful and innovative execution of approved strategies
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:Â
- Comfort with storytelling, presenting and wrangling large groups of people
- Previous director-level agency experience
- Ideally, a passion for sports and experience with US Hispanic advertising

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $160,000 to $180,000 Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
