ABOUT THE POSITION

With a lens on the future, this role will collaboratively create and run the SOREL strategic game plan. The Director Strategy & Integration shapes and drives the brand's growth agenda by leading the business planning processes, aligning enterprise leadership to make our biggest opportunities a reality, and spearheading transformational projects across SOREL's businesses and geographies.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
  • Write the Future: Drive critical strategic thinking and action in partnership with cross-functional partners - around SOREL's biggest opportunities
  • Catalyze and drive action against these priorities through special projects as related to new strategic workstreams
  • Chief of Staff: Operate as a thought partner to the President and senior leadership and ensure effective empowerment & accountability across the SOREL organization
  • Lead the team through key organizational processes, including Seasonal Cross-Functional Planning & Execution; Quarterly Business review, reporting and response; and weekly integrated business meeting agendas, preparations and alignment
  • As SOREL Director of Strategy & Integration you will dual report to the SOREL President and the CSC VP of Strategy
  • You will partner with the rest of the SOREL Leadership Team as well as the CSC Strategic Planning team to the drive long-term growth strategy
  • You will lead projects focused on identifying and evaluating critical priorities and/or strategic problems for the Brand
  • You ensure that Sorel priorities and perspectives are reflected in enterprise strategies
  • You'll provide research and analytical support to identify and evaluate business opportunities and partner with cross functional partners within the brand and at CSC on aligning the quantitative and qualitative processes to inform strategic decisions with the President of the Brand

YOU ARE
  • Able to navigate and thrive in ambiguity and influence across a cross-functional, matrixed environment
  • Comfortable leading multiple projects at once and operating with a high degree of ambiguity

YOU HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field is required. MBA degree preferred
  • 10 + years of corporate strategy, strategy consulting, business development, corporate development, investment banking, or related experience (or 4+ years total experience with an MBA/Master's degree; or 7+ years total experience in lieu of a degree)
  • Superior problem-solving skills combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Must have strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning concepts and the ability to provide thought leadership and exercise a wide degree of creativity
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • A genuine understanding of why the SOREL Brand matters
  • Preferred: Apparel/footwear, retail, merchandising, digital/ecommerce and/or experience in consumer-facing industries and demonstrated understanding of the competitive landscape / retail marketplace
