The Team
The Fidelity Health Benefits Group supports the recordkeeping and administration of health benefits (medical, dental and vision plans) and life insurance plans on behalf of Fidelity's corporate clients, their employees and retirees. The technology associates on the FHB Platform team interact with business partners as well as systems partners who have responsibility for client-facing channels such as NetBenefitsยฎ. The development teams are located across USA and India. Team size is 300+ resources across IT and Product. This highly motivated team works completely on Agile Methodology.

We are looking for an outspoken technical leader with a deep passion and the technical chops to discover, analyze, prep and visualize and deliver an end-end solution, and to support the project delivery and efficiency measurement. This role will work with squad-mates to understand the details of the development work and help articulate this work to others within and outside the squad. In this role you will bring your agile knowledge to implement agile ceremonies and streamline the processes to deliver functionality to the market faster.
The Expertise You Have
- 15+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years managing complex IT projects/initiatives as an Agile Scrum Master or Systems Analyst.
- Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related fields)
- Hands on experience managing and coordinating large-scale technology initiatives, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Experience leading, influencing, and collaborating in a matrix-managed environment and across multiple, diverse groups.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) a plus.
- Ability to successfully deliver large-scale product initiatives by empowering and supporting your team and by helping to identify and remove impediments.
- Ability to analyze business problems and come up with solutions
- Have a collaborative approach to problem solving and your ability to adapt plans based on organizational dynamics and constraints.
- Ability to organize and present ideas and information logically and concisely in a variety of ways (verbally, written, power-point, stories) and to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Ability to operate and influence in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills.
- Desire to contribute to an organization committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
- You will be required to manage an agile team with members on shore and potentially off-shore and run the necessary ceremonies for the team. In this role, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of mid-tier platform features and functions, including analysis, design, development, quality assurance and production release
- Work collaboratively with business and other technology partners to develop solutions and overall strategies that address complex business needs and opportunities. This will include documenting findings from analysis clearly and communicating this to all stakeholders.
- Participate in architecture, technical design, and product implementation discussions.
- Champion and drive development best practices which will improve quality and efficiency within your team and the mid-tier/platform organization
- Serve as a leader and mentor to other technologists within the team/organization
