The Director of Talent Acquisition - COE will play a pivotal role during an exciting time of growth and transformation. The Director will lead Safelite's talent acquisition operations, sourcing, technology, and evolve Safelite's employment brand to attract and deliver top talent across the enterprise. This role will collaboratively partner with peers inside and outside of talent acquisition, including globally to deliver the talent needs of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively contribute to the development of talent acquisition strategies.
  • Establish and maintain talent acquisition policies and procedures (e.g., tools, templates, job aids training).
  • Manage preferred vendors, ensure expected benefits are realized and participate in the negotiation of talent acquisition related contracts (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed, contingent labor, executive staffing firms).
  • Lead design, implement, and serve as system expert for talent acquisition technologies - global applicant tracking system, MS Teams, SharePoint.
  • Serve as global talent acquisition process lead and represent the interests of Safelite talent acquisition in global decision-making forums.
  • Role model Safelite's core values, culture, and desired behaviors.
  • Develop talent that delivers performance and results - including the identification, development, and retention of talent with requisite employment brand, sourcing and vendor management capabilities as well as providing leadership and overseeing performance management and team development activities.
  • Oversee talent acquisition operational budget and execution of talent acquisition initiatives and projects across the enterprise.
  • Hold self and others accountable for meeting commitments by setting and clearly communicating expectations and roles and responsibilities relative to talent acquisition.
  • Manage a team of three subject matter experts: Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations, Sourcing Manager, and Talent Attraction and Employer Brand Manager.
  • Actively contribute as a strategic talent acquisition partner to peers, business partners and the global people function.
  • Proactively engage cross functional stakeholders and develop and evolve talent acquisition KPIs, dashboards and reporting.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and delivers recommendations to improves overall team effectiveness.
  • Ensure processes and records are documented and maintained in a central repository.
  • Apply subject-matter-expertise to lead teams in producing work deliverables in support of organizational initiatives.
  • Lead talent acquisition and functional projects, as assigned.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or related experience required
  • 10+ years' experience in brand, marketing, communications, and project management
  • Prior people leadership experience, required.
  • Social media experience including fluency in social media strategies, platforms and metrics
  • Proven experience owning and executing project strategies, plans and schedules
  • A true marketer with a distinctive passion for creativity, strategy and analysis
  • Proactive self-starter, builder and trail blazer to evolve new practices
