NCQA is hiring a Director, Talent Acquisition to join our team!

The primary purpose of this position is to lead NCQA's talent acquisition team and recruiting strategies focused on supporting NCQA's staffing, diversity, equity and inclusion goals. This position is responsible for managing, developing, and coordinating recruiting pipeline development strategies to ensure proactive talent identification as well as establishing recruiting ties with internal and external sources focusing on identifying, attracting and engaging candidates from historically marginalized groups. This position will implement and drive active recruiting strategies. In addition, this position will be a strategic thought leader to help ensure that NCQA has the people resources and capabilities to achieve our strategic goals. The position reports directly to the Chief People and Diversity Officer and manages a team of three that are responsible for full life cycle recruiting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide strategy for talent acquisition to support NCQA's business needs and innovative outreach programs using diversity, equity and inclusion best practices.
  • Lead talent acquisition team in executing strategies, ensuring diverse candidate slates for all positions.
  • Serve as influential leader, providing guidance on current market trends, partnering with all levels of leadership and hiring managers on hiring needs and creating diversity, equity and inclusion plans for recruiting.
  • Develops and executes strategies to enhance hiring practices, promote brand recognition and market to potential candidates.
  • Leads talent acquisition team to improve and maintain internal systems, as well as, design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies, to include but not limited to, tracking of active and passive prospects, managing applicant tracking system, ensuring smooth interview scheduling, and overseeing administrative processes associated with recruiting.
  • Reports on talent acquisition metrics and provides data and reports on a regular basis.
  • Regularly gathers feedback from hiring managers on quality of candidate pool, recruiting processes and incorporate feedback for process improvement.
  • Collaborates with the HR team on other duties as appropriate to meet NCQA's business needs such as maintaining/preparing reports (turnover, Affirmative Action Plan, providing updates to Leadership and others), developing and conducting training for managers on recruiting and onboarding processes, and assisting with other major HR initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years significant and proven track record in full life cycle recruiting.
  • 5+ years managing recruiting teams in high volume recruiting environment, preferably in corporate recruiting environment.
  • 5+ years demonstrated experience developing high volume recruiting strategies used including networking, diversity outreach and experience with social media.
  • Requires substantial passion for recruiting and the HR sector.
  • Superior communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize responsibilities and be a multi-tasker.
  • Requires a "make it happen" mentality and entrepreneurial aptitude.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to build relationships.
  • Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization.
