How you will contribute to LifeNet Health's success:

The Director, Talent Acquisition will be the architect of the talent acquisition strategy focused on automated sourcing strategies, recruitment marketing, employer branding, ATS/CRM functionality, integration, and reporting to drive increased employer visibility and talent attraction aligned with our culture and mission. Oversight of the full cycle recruitment process while focusing on new sourcing resources and proactive techniques to recruit diverse, high value candidates. Lead and support the Talent Acquisition team by supporting, guiding, collaborating, and fostering ownership. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the current labor market(s) and innovative ways of acquiring talent. Will also be an authentic, transformational, or servant leader who can build trust, model the way, inspire others, and influence stakeholders. What you'll do:

  • Recruitment Cycle Management: Manages a high-volume recruiting process for positions ranging from internships, entry-level positions to highly technical, and senior /executive level management positions. Delivers a high-quality experience for our candidates and hiring managers. Understands the culture and environment, the market, the services provided, the strategic direction of the company, and the specifics surrounding each opportunity and positions LifeNet Health as the "Employer of Choice". Optimizes the use of the applicant tracking system while adhering to OFCCP guidelines within all steps of the hiring process. Oversee pre-employment process (background check, references, etc.), as well as the preparation and approval of offer package, providing equity & market competitiveness data research. Provides team leadership to the Talent Acquisition Team by coaching, mentoring and guiding team members to be effective TA Specialists. Manages the Talent Acquisition team's day-to-day workflows, performance, and engagement. Manages all vendor relationships and contracts related to the Talent Acquisition function.
  • Sourcing Talent: Serves as an ambassador of LifeNet Health when reaching out to candidates; engaging with candidates and acting professionally in representing the company. Identifies the best mix of resources to source top talent and create talent pipelines - performing research, job web searches, referrals, and industry-specific sources. Executes innovative methods to source, evaluate and pipeline external passive, diverse candidates for potential employment at LifeNet Health. Oversees recruiting programs such as employee referrals, and community partnerships to attract diverse candidates.
  • Training and Development: Drives mastery of interview and assessment techniques within your team and across stakeholder groups. Educates and collaborates with hiring managers on the hiring and selection processes. Coaches hiring managers and coordinates selection process to ensure optimal selection of candidates for available positions. Provides education to management concerning topics related to the selection and employment of talent as needed. Precepts new Talent Acquisition staff members concerning the recruitment process, applicant tracking system, department policies and guidelines while serving as a SME and mentor.
  • Strategy and Planning: Works with Human Resources partners and business leaders to build a deep understanding of the business and relevant markets to help shape the annual recruitment strategy and sourcing efforts. Assesses future human capital needs of each client group and develops long-term strategies that ensure timely acquisition of identified skills and capabilities. Partners with hiring managers to proactively develop and execute hiring plans to ensure we meet our short-term and long-term hiring goals and our business objectives. Manages annual headcount plans, progress to hiring goals, and all operational metrics. Provides budget requirements annually.
  • Continuous Improvement: Focuses on continuous improvement and makes suggestions to improve the talent acquisition process, policies, programs, and strategy to deliver a high-quality experience for our candidates and hiring managers. Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, technology, and standards. Produces and presents regular reports on talent needs, acquisitions, and plans.
  • Salary Administration: Collaborates with the HRBP to ensure salary determinations and offers of employment are appropriate, while upholding the compensation system integrity and ensuring equity within pay grades and job classes. Prepares, extends, and negotiates competitive job offers in support of requisitions for client groups. This position has access to confidential personnel records and pay information not otherwise available. This position is responsible for protecting and maintaining the privacy of such records and information.

What you'll bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
  • Attain the PHR, SPHR, SHRMCP or SHRM-SCP certification within the first year of employment. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Other credible HR/Talent Acquisition/Recruitment certification for example - the OFCCP Training / Certificate preferred
  • 7 Years Full-cycle client-facing recruiting in a corporate environment
  • 8 Years Managing and leading direct reports; 10 Years preferred
  • 1 Year Recruitment experience within life sciences arena (medical device, pharma, biotech, healthcare) preferred
  • 2 Years' Experience leading College Recruitment initiatives for direct hires or interns/co-ops preferred
  • 2 Years' Experience with data/analytics and/or digital technology in the HR space preferred

  • Program Development: Successful track record in implementing processes/programs: talent sourcing, hiring, on-boarding, diversity, programs, etc. Project Management Demonstrated ability to lead projects and teams. Strong attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated team leadership skills along with strong collaboration skills. Ability to effectively work and influence across a highly matrixed, multilocation organization.
  • Employee Engagement: Effective in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and tactics.
  • Decision Making: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, strong analysis/decision-making skills, and ability to manage multiple projects across various organizations.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office Skills required, particularly Outlook & Scheduling. Experience with LinkedIn Corporate Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor or managing other job boards. Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience with Social Media platforms. Proven experience with full-cycle recruitment and sourcing a diversity of candidates. Knowledge of employment law as it relates to talent acquisition
  • LEAN: Working knowledge of LEAN principles and application preferred
