Job Summary:
As the Director, Talent Management, you will oversee all talent management initiatives including performance feedback, talent reviews, succession planning, learning & professional development, career pathing, and internal talent mobility. You will partner with the broader Human Resources (HR) organization and the business to design and implement programs and solutions aimed at the delivery of talent development, readiness, and leadership development in alignment with our growth strategy. You will identify the critical leadership and professional development priorities needed for Chamberlain Group to successfully execute it's short- and long-term business objectives. This role serves as a critical enabler to the company's ongoing transformation and growth strategy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business or related field
  • Minimum 10 years' progressive experience in Organizational Development, Change Management, or Talent Management
  • Experience with design and implementation of enterprise-wide talent programs

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders in defining talent needs
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze, summarize, and effectively present data
  • Knowledge of instructional design, learning technology, and adult learning theory
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to motivate and coach others
  • Proven ability to lead teams directly and indirectly; demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex initiatives simultaneously
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of internal and external clients
  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
  • Ability to understand changing business/market needs and subsequently creative in developing solutions in support of ongoing transformation

Additional Job Details:
  • Design and implement organizational development initiatives that focus on leadership development, employee onboarding/offboarding, performance management, succession planning, career pathing, and employee engagement.
  • Lead strategic programs by collaborating with leaders and HR business partners (HRBPs) to assess organization design, workflow, tools, roles, and behaviors.
  • Build a leadership pipeline and global talent review process, preparing the organization for growth and improving the depth and breadth of internal talent and skills across the company to increase the number of "ready now" candidates.
  • Formulate and align enterprise-wide learning strategies for leadership and professional development.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of talent development solutions and enterprise talent development initiatives. Consult and collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to create scalable talent solutions and/or team interventions.
  • Partner with HRBPs to assess needs and manage implementation of talent programs and tools to accomplish specific business objectives. Build the capability of our HR teams and leaders to assess talent and future talent needs.
  • Design and drive a consistent and comprehensive global talent assessment approach and framework for our businesses and HR teams to leverage and assess talent and define talent pipelines.
  • Redesign and enhance existing leadership programs and assess and drive assessment tools and coaching programs to build leadership skills and capabilities. Provide talent data and analytics to highlight facts and trends on skill gaps, pipeline needs, and competitor/benchmark talent information. In partnership with Talent Acquisition, create methodologies that aid in the selection and development of future leaders.

  • Drive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback, and facilitating employee development per the company's policies.

  • Lead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture consistent with the company mission, vision, and values.
