Job Description

What You'll Do:

• Lead external financial reporting process, including SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q) and compilation of financial statements, management's discussion and analysis, and footnote disclosures
• Manage technical accounting matters such as leases, consolidations, impairment assessments including carrying out research and documentation for a variety of complex and non-standard transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, debt offerings, new stock compensation arrangements etc., adoption of new standards, and general corporate accounting matters
• Manage revenue accounting including GAAP compliance
• Manage the revenue team and cross functional collaboration with sales and operations teams
• Be a subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, with the new and proposed disclosure requirements
• Lead the compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls, including the assessment of existing controls for appropriateness, the need for new controls, and the evaluation of control deficiencies
• Evaluate and continually improve accounting procedures, processes, and systems to ensure standardized worldwide close process and efficient operations
• Analyze competitor filings and industry reports to assess trends in financial statement disclosures
• Help review quarterly financial statements, including preparation of statement of cash flows and earnings per share
• Monitor and revise procedures to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls over external financial reporting
• Help prepare presentations for the Audit Committee and senior management on several financial topics
• Support the annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors
• Support testing by all auditors on internal controls
• Assist with or be responsible for other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance
• CPA or equivalent qualification required
• 10+ years of relevant
• Managerial level experience in public audit or corporate environment
• Experience with US GAAP accounting principles with a knowledge of SEC reporting regulations
• Research technical and general accounting, report issues, propose solutions, and document conclusions
• Demonstrated problem solving ability (identify problems and develop/implement solutions)
• Self-starter: ability to work and prioritize with little direction
• High level of accuracy in all work
• Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong written and oral communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills with different stakeholders and all levels of employees
• Willingness to support a lean team on a variety of high priority tasks

Salary Ranges

$126,748.56 USD to $170,884.20 USD
