Director, Technical Programs

Clearance: Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DHS clearance or Top Secret clearance as required. 

The Dev Technology Technical Program Leader will drive growth and continued delivery excellence across our prime and subcontract portfolios of projects, focused on enhancing and growing this capability offering throughout our community of agency customers, employees, and partners. The ideal candidate will bring an established track record of growing multiple projects within a portfolio of work within the government contracting industry and is passionate about supporting team members in their own career development.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and develop Dev Technology project teams as part of a growing, thriving community within Dev that consistently achieves high customer satisfaction scores through world class delivery
  • Achieve organic growth across projects and portfolios by establishing trusted customer relationships
  • Realize new business growth through generating leads and leading the capture of opportunities and related offerings, working closely with BD team and with other account
  • Lead and provide input to RFI and RFP responses, including performing the lead capture role, including but not limited to proposal response team coordination, coordinating with the talent team for staffing strategy, coordinating communications across multiple departments including business operations and business development, to ensure transparency and milestones met
  • Leverage relationships across our industry with  partner companies to identify and capture new business and add-on growth
  • Lead and develop portfolio team members, providing learning and development opportunities and supporting them in their career progression
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with federal agency customers and prospects based on trust, developing and increasing those relationships over time
  • Manage financial performance across portfolio to meet or exceed contract forecasts in support of corporate goals
  • Collaborate closely with fellow leaders across the company in support of both delivery and business development needs across other divisions
  • Actively engage in corporate initiatives including annual goal achievement activities and culture-building events
  • Support and evolve corporate processes that drive quality and client satisfaction across the portfolio, including our ISO and CMMI based Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Some travel required 

    Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required; Master’s Degree is preferred combined with 12+ years of experience work in the technical environment, and a minimum of 6+ years leading project teams and contributing as an organization leader 
  • Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft products and services
  • Proven experience successfully leading and growing technical services projects, preferably within a government contracting environment
  • Experience leading projects in an agile environment
  • Established network of relationships across the government contracting industry
  • Demonstrates high level of comfort communicating effectively with varying levels of senior management and government agency officials up to CIO level
  • Experience leading successful BD and capture efforts for mid to large sized opportunities within federal government, including an understanding of the procurement process within the federal contracting industry
  • Proven ability and desire to create an environment that fosters employee growth and development

Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience

  • Masters degree in a related field
  • DHS public trust
