ABOUT THE ROLE
The Third Party (3P) Sales team at Peloton is responsible for driving subscription growth by expanding product distribution with third-party omni-channel retailers. As the Director, 3P Retail for the US market, you will be responsible for leading the strategic relationships with third-party omni-channel retailers and the execution of business initiatives across your partners’ channels. You will also serve as the central point for internal stakeholders, responsible for prioritizing initiatives that drive the best customer experience and business outcomes.Â
The ideal candidate is a strategic operator who has an analytical mindset, experience managing strategic relationships and a track record of being able to drive data-driven decision-making across a group of internal and external stakeholders. This role will report to the Senior Director, Global 3P Sales.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON- Relationship Management: Leads relationship with our omni-channel third-party retailers in the US. Responsible for building strong, long-term, connections with key stakeholders and their senior management. Responsible for partner terms and negotiations that impact the P&L.Â
- Strategic Planning: Develops strategies and tactics to accelerate growth and improve profitability. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Strategy, and Marketing to develop multi-year business plans. Provide input on the overall budget and expenses plan for relevant partners.Â
- Sales Strategy: Creates and implements promotional strategy tailored to consumer buying habits and the partner's promotional calendar. Utilizes insights & analytics to drive sell-through. Coordinates with the marketing team to boost traffic and conversion. Manages in-season negotiations, promotional investments, and price optimization.
- Business Operations: Works with internal and external stakeholders to build the annual operational plan. Oversees execution of key initiatives to exceed revenue targets and partnership objectives. Drives continuous improvement for sales and operational efficiency.
- Business Performance: Manages weekly and monthly business reviews to inform stakeholders of the channel’s performance.Â
- Revenue Forecasting: Collaborates with partner and demand planning on the sales forecast. Partners with supply chain to ensure inventory availability is able to maximize revenue during key selling periods.
- The role may require travel, depending on partnership geography
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with strong oral and written communication skills, proven multi-tasking ability, quantitative analysis skills, and negotiation experience
- 8+ years experience in account management or similar in consumer brand industry
- P&L management experience
- Omni-channel retail, strategic partnerships, and partner marketing a plus
- Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organization skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proven experience using data to influence business decisions
- Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration
- Bachelor's Degree required
