We are looking for an experienced research leader to guide our user research team in generating revelatory and actionable insights about our customers and prospects. We need someone with a player-coach mindset who can define research strategy and build structures while also inspiring their team through execution excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Define, communicate, and execute end-to-end research program to inform customer journey and task design across multiple product teams
- Coach and manage a team of talented User Researchers
- Lead hands-on UX research using mixed methods studies for technical products
- Conduct 1:1 interviews, facilitate co-creation/ideation, perform concept resonance testing, usability testing, etc.
- Strategize, plan, and execute both short-term and long-term research projects to answer business, marketing, and product questions
- Collaborate with marketers, product managers, designers, and engineers to prioritize roadmap changes and advocate for users' point of view
- Articulate research best practices (both qualitative and quantitative) and apply them appropriately to achieve effective results
What We'll Expect From You:
- Experience of ~10 years running all aspects of research studies from start to finish and a ~3-5 years of managerial experience running research teams.
- Practical experience with technical products in a previous leadership role in User Research, Customer Research, or Customer Insights in a fast-paced environment.
- Preference for operating in a fast paced agency/consulting environment running strategic/consultative projects.
- Familiarity with third-party tools for quantitative (e.g., Qualtrics, GetFeedback) and qualitative (e.g., Lookback, Wynter) data collection.
- Familiarity with quantitative market research methods to enable effective partnerships with market researchers (direct quantitative market research experience would be a plus)
- Working knowledge of SQL and tools using relational databases (e.g., Airtable)
- Previous experience effectively combining qualitative and quantitative methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and pattern recognition
- Curiosity and an interest in learning new things

- We reward our employees . The base salary range for this position is between $190,000.00 - $220,000.00 based on relevant years of experience and skills. The salary range for this role is specific to candidates located within the U.S. and will vary for candidates outside the U.S.. Employees may qualify for a bonus in addition to base salary; bonus amounts are determined based on company and individual performance. We also provide equity compensation to eligible employees including grants of equity upon hire and the option to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
