Directors, Finance

American Express Travel Related Services seeks Directors, Finance to lead financial analysis and forecasting to provide guidance on strategies to drive revenue streams aimed at maximizing organizational value. Conduct strategic and financial analysis using internal and external information to identify and prioritize short-term and long-term financial opportunities. Develop, coordinate, report, validate business unit finance strategies, and make recommendations. Devise enhancement of financial processes to monitor financial performance. Support core finance initiatives with business and finance partners to identify, drive, and track large-scale, cross-functional margin improvement initiatives.

Position Requires a Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, and 3 years of experience with financial analysis and modeling, including card portfolio growth and profitability, new product development, external partnerships, and strategic investments. Experience must include a minimum of: 3 years of experience with analyzing business requirements, consumer behavior, and financial services industry trends, and reporting on results to senior leadership and business unit partners; 3 years of experience with translating complex finance concepts into actionable insights for presentation to business leaders for decision-making; 3 years of experience with financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting, including with Excel, pivot tables, V-lookups, discounted cash flow (DCF) and waterfall chart analysis; and 2 years of experience with financial systems, including Machine Learning Studio, SQL, and TM1. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week.

Job Location: New York, NY

Salary Range: $136,936.00 - $205,000.00 annually
