Disclosure Desk Specialist

How you’ll do it: 

• Performing tasks while ensuring mortgage disclosures are being sent in accordance with specified Compliance regulations including:
  • State and Federal
  • Government and Investor
  • Custom Disclosures
• Developing expertise in disclosures and reviewing disclosures to ensure they are compliant prior to them being sent to out to borrowers.
• Ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are adhered to for all tasks completed within the Disclosure Desk team
• Actively Monitoring pipelines, dashboards, and Bots or other automatic processes to ensure timeliness of each task completion
• Communicating between all departments, including origination, processing, closing, and compliance, and I.T. to produce compliant disclosures and meet regulatory guidelines
• Successfully Interpret internal compliance tools, such as Mavent, Encompass Alerts, disclosure matrices, etc.
• Working Knowledge of TRID, HMDA, FACTA, ECOA, TILA
• Assisting with other duties as necessary

What you’ll need to join Cascade:

• Minimum of 2 years mortgage experience.
• Experience with Encompass, or similar loan origination systems.

• Proven ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge.
• Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and keep accurate records.
• Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing workloads.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• Strong, sound judgement, including knowing when to escalate issues
