The Discovery Channel Manager for Cytiva is responsible for working closely with channel partners to develop CP management strategies to achieve sales target and ensure efficient business operations and growth.
This position is part of the Channel team in D&M Opco located in Republic of Korea and will be remote. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in the assigned channel partner account.
- Coordinate the engagement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet the performance objectives of channel partners and their expectations.
- Meet allotted targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
- Improve sales orders, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction for a given product, service, and business solution.
- Establish a channel operation strategy based on market situation analysis and channel operation dynamics.
- Monitor and analyze channel performance for regular and timely accurate predictions and evaluate the sales funnel of assigned channel partners.
- Continuously proactively assess, clarify, and validate channel partner's requirements.
- Leads the development of best solutions fit the needs of end users, while coordinating the engagement of all critical company and partner personnel.
- Guides and supervises channel partners to ensure channel partner compliance
Who you are:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a life science related field or above
- Experience: +5 years of proven competency in selling life sciences product and service(sales) or +3 years of proven experience in channel management and indirect sales
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skill / Good communication and interpersonal relationships / English communication and technical skills for data analysis and report writing & orals
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Â
- Channel Partner management experience
- Protein research product sales experience and product knowledge
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Language Requirements:
- Fluent level of English & Korean in written and verbal communicationsÂ
- Ability to travel abroad upon business needsÂ
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record within territory or locationsÂ
- If foreign national, legal work permit is required to pursue employment contract by Korean immigration law
- Ability and resilience to manage required chemical materials to pursue task in healthy and safe condition
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to ##lb, any other physical requirements
